DAMO is a reliable and innovative MDR Certified Dose Calibrator for use in Nuclear Medicine applications which combines a long-term
field proven measuring technology with new state-of-the-art connectivity features, thanks to smart electronics.
The high accuracy innovative electrometer, coupled to a deep-well Argon filled Ionization Chamber, allows the highest
measuring accuracy and stability over the full operative range.
A rational and user-friendly Windows-based HMI provides clear measurement results and full control of the device in
terms of QC, data management, reports and label generation.
To increase geometric measurement accuracy, the system gives the user the unique capability to insert for each isotope
an indefinite number of geometries, all stored in a permanent SQL database.
These features greatly reduce measurement errors when measuring beta and alpha emitters.
DAMO can be used as Stand-Alone device or installed inside hot cells and cabinets. HMI software can be installed over
any Windows® 10/11 based system.

Our family of activity dose calibrators is specifically designed to measure most isotopes used in Nuclear Medicine and PET Centers.
The device comes with a factory set of calibration factors for two standard geometries (Vial and Syringe)
but it gives the possibility to insert and calibrate all needed isotopes/geometries combinations.

Thanks to Murphil’s Patented Technology, it is possible to customize activity meters
according to specific geometric configurations and to special activity measurement needs.


Activity meter chamber is achieved by means of particular detecting units, thus allowing to realize special shape detectors and to act on them in terms of efficiency response. Detector assures the same measuring performance of standard dose calibrators. Detecting units are coupled to high accuracy, high stability electrometer with long-term field application over hundreds of installations in activity measurement applications.
An example of a custom configuration is a C-SHAPED detector. This shape is optimized for the following tasks:

Frontal access of the vial/syringe

Visual inspection of the target vial/syringe

Same accuracy as a standard deep well dose calibrator
Due to the advanced and complete software, C-TYPE can associate to each isotope and indefinite number of geometries (over Vial and Syringe), such allowing unique accuracy in particular for beta, alpha and beta/gamma emitting isotopes.
The system can achieve up to 1 TBq of F-18 Activity measurement (depending on customized detectors pressure and gas type).
